1. A way that I would transform the nuclear arms race into a peace race would be by simple teaching the young differently. School, churches, and even adults should be making sure their child, student, etc. is being taught peaceful reasoning. It seems to me that children that come from a rough background or that were deprived of love are the ones that end up with an unpeaceful mindset. If parents did these things like nurturing their child and made sure they received lots of love, this world would be filled with much more peace. This video may not be completely about peace, but it is so important I believe that children are raised properly because those are the baby steps to peace.

Martin Luther King in his essay says, “Every man lives in two realms, the internal and external.” He says the first one is the internal which is the realm of spiritual ends expressed in art, literature, morals, and religion. The second one is the external realm is the complex of devices, techniques, mechanisms, and instrumentalities by means of which we live. I believe that if our world lived a moral and spiritual life it would make a huge difference to begin with. Like my paragraph above, I believe children should be taught the great morals of life and also be brought up with spirituality meaning religion and learning about God or a God. I believe the technological part will work itself in as long as we start with the teaching morality and spirituality, not only to the young but also the older. It may take a while, but these things are the key to peace.
