1. A person who is considered to be Type B is almost the opposite of a Type A person. Type B people is the norm; any average joe. When they are in the store and have to stand in long lines, it dones not bother them. They are usually very calm and collected and it will take a lot to get them irritated. They will not be destructive under stress, like Type A, but they are more likely to be productive. They take things as they come and are not constantly in a rush. They are in general more patient and calm than Type A and have no sense of time urgency. They enjoy relaxing and are ok with sitting without doing anything. Type B are more likely to put things off or leave things unfinished because they don't get stressed out as much. They are very easygoing people and are able to listen to people talk and let them finish before they start talking. In general Type B people are very carefree and patient.
I took the personality test and my results said that I was a ESFP (Extravert, Sensor, Feeler, Perceiver) they are charismatic, flexible, spontaneous, down-to-earth, talkative, fun-loving, "people people" who enjoy helping others in tangible ways and are gifted at building excitement & enthusiasm. ESFPs have an uncanny ability to notice & remember conversations, facts & details (particularly those that relate to people). They are realistic observers and see and accept things as they are. They tend to trust what they can observe first hand instead of theoretical explanations. ESFPs are excellent at speaking "off the cuff." Naturally sensitive to the feelings of others, they go out of their way to avoid conflict.

Erica this was a good post. It can not be argued that there are two types of people: people that do and people that dont or wait to do. And the personality info about was a good touch.

ReplyDeleteErica, great blog post. I really liked the picture you used to explain the Type B personality. It really shows how type A people want to rush into things to finish them and be urgent during it, while a type B person will take their time and do it eventually. I dont however agree with your statement that type B people will most likely e more productive. I think this is backwards being that type B people will take more time to do things because they are more lax. other than that, nice post
I also agree with the two above me, I think you did a very good job in explaining it. Type B people are very patient and your typical person, which I do not think a lot of people are. A lot of people in my book are type A because it is hard to find not one person to be under stress.
ReplyDeleteNice job, Erica, on your post and your visual which represents the two personality types to a tee.
