1. According to Gleick’s essay, a type B personality is characterized by being under no time pressure and the complete opposite of a type A personality. The essay does not offer more than a few sentences on type B after an essay on type A. Type B is centered around being patient. Type B people don’t hurry and they take time to think about their actions before acting on them, they are more relaxed than their type A counterparts. A person with type B personality is more likely to wait until the last minute to get their work done, in other words procrastinate. These people love to socialize with friends as well as strangers and love being the center of attention. They keep their work and personal lives separate. The relationship that a type B person engages in is more likely to work out well. In short type B people are relaxed, artistic, creative, patient, and imaginative. The judgments of a type B person are more likely based on the emotional appeal of the situation following their hearts in making decisions.

My personality profile result was ISTJ (Introvert, Sensor, Thinker, Judger). The profile stated that ISTJ people accurately noticed and remembered details. Our word is our bond and we are serious and realistic. We have practical judgment and use our past experiences in present problem. We like to communicate directly and value common sense.
