Timothy M Blog 2 Post

1) The Essay Presented ample information toward Type A personalities, but didn't say much about Type B personalities, other than that they are basically opposite. In General, Type A people are time conscious and prefer to do things quick rather than later, while Type B people are more lax about doing things because they have the mentality that they will do it eventually anyway. In the picture above, the left block shows a more lax, less stern personality, which would resemble the Type B personality, and the block on the right shows a serious and less bubbly personality, resembling Type A. Specifically, Type B personality consists of the idea of separating yourself from stress, and living a peaceful and relaxing life. Type B people are less stressed, more patient, and more flexible with the times they do things, because they lack the ability or urge to do things quickly. In the aspect of anger, they are less likely to get mad at something, but are rather unaffected by things. They will usually try to avoid confrontation whenever possible.

2) After taking the personality survey, i was an INTJ. INTJ stands for Introverted, Intuitive, Thinker, Judger. The First Word they use to describe this result is Perfectionist. I Think that i am a perfectionist because if something doesn't turn out the way i wanted, i will do it again so its right. INTJ's strong need for autonomy and achievement along with their faith in their own ideas drives them to reach their goals. They are logical astute and set unrealistically high standards for themselves. They prefer to be independent and work alone for long periods of time. They are also theoretical and work well with complex concepts. This personality test result really explains who i am as a person. Everything it says an INTJ is, i can relate to my personal life.

  2. That is a good post, another thing I find interesting is the fact that we have the same personality type even though it said roughly 2-4% pf the population has it.
