I am going to go outside the box here and disagree with everything about the "type A" personality. Everyone has a different personality. The only thing you can put into a category is your work style. Every person on the face of this earth is different, if they were not it would be a very boring place. A blog is supposed to be a personal experience, so I am pulling out the True Colors Card. I recently just attended a retreat for becoming an Orientation Leader here at FGCU. It was honestly one of the most eye opening experiences in my life. One of the activities we did was called True Colors and it split everyone up into 4 sections Orange, Blue, Green, and Gold, each one meaning a different style of how you live your life. But honestly it is just work style. It is impossible to split people up into categories without discrimination. That is why I disagree with this Type A thing because it really is saying your right or wrong. If there was one thing I understood, it was a small quote on the front of the exersize. The cards you hold in the game of life means very little-Its the way you play that counts.
Do you have any research to support the Type A/Type B myth? Opinion is nice but finding a credible source to back up an opinion is better. Did you do the other personality test to satisfy Part 2 of the post?
